“You have lived through the unbelievable pressure of the White House. You have listened to harsh criticism of your parents by people who had never even met them. You stood by as your precious parents were reduced to headlines. Your parents, who put you first and who not only showed you but gave you the world. As always, they will be rooting for you as you begin your next chapter. And so will we.”

A Lesson in Diplomacy: Prime Minister Shinzuro Abe, leader of Japan, the world’s 4th largest economy, has demonstrated to Pres. Duterte that this is how national leaders communicate with each other. Japan invaded the Philippines in WW2 and certainly the atrocities committed by its troops are still remembered but there was no cursing this time. Abe has been well advised and what he has done was a masterful diplomatic stroke that I hope will not be lost on our President, used to his style of dealing with cutthroats and small-time criminals. I also hope the Bong Go will know where to position himself in times like this. Was that UniQlo Mr. Abe was wearing?

On How Gen Bato run for safety from a smoking firecracker: How he scampers quickly and brush aside the two staff officers so he can be shielded from the ensuing explosion …… shows he has strong natural instinct of survival. One will wonder how Edgar Matobato, the prime ‘asset’ of the Heinous Section of the Davao City Chief of Police Office would react if he sees this video.
You are a disgrace. You concoct stories about a short video of a spur of the moment natural human reaction. I am sure Gen Bato has no beef against you and i am sure he has done more for the country than you do. Wala sa kalingkingan. Its a shame…
